Susan Paino has been designing and leading child/family dance classes and  creative arts events in the Boston area for 20 plus years.

In July 2020, she relocated to Hillsborough, NC, and now teaches children's classes (via Zoom) from her home studio. In addition, thanks to the wonders of virtual learning, Ms. Susan is thrilled to be teaching dance for Apollinaire Play Lab in Chelsea, MA - where she has taught for many years.

Costume Designer

Susan Paino creates imaginative fashions for dance and theatre. She is best known for finding creative ways to use recycled and up-cycled clothing, fabric, and other materials. Susan's flair for costume design is rooted in her early dance studies at the E. Virginia Williams School of Dance in Malden, MA, where she was surrounded by talented artists who hand-built tutus and tiaras.
