To Be a Cat

This is a teeny-tiny story about one of my favorite human beings.

She loves all animals. She's especially fond of cats.

One day, as my friend was getting ready to paint, she told me an elaborate story about a cat.

She stopped every once in a while, to make sure I understood the details. Then she began to paint a cat. She painted very carefully.

I noticed something yellow coming from the cat's mouth. (That's the vomit from the story!)

When her painting was finished, she became a cat.

Meow.
